Growing up, I wanted to be a pediatric cardiologist, then a lawyer, then an FBI profiler. A few college classes and two kids later, here I am as an artist. No one would have called me that, least of all me. I was under the really wrong assumption that only certain people were creative and I was definitely not one of them. A few years ago, I stumbled into the creative Instagram world and it changed everything for me, realizing that creativity wasn’t just assigned at birth to a special few. So now I’m an artist. (I’d still love to be an FBI profiler but alas, I missed the age limit and they don’t take old ladies.)
Besides making and learning about all things creative, I’m a bit of a Netflix super fan, a collector of books that sound amazing but then never get around to reading them, and love dog Instagram accounts, the ocean, disaster movies and cherry coke.
My latest projects are wrapping up our final year of homeschooling, learning how to make digital patterns, and figuring out how I want to start putting stories and memories in picture and print.
